On April 27, 2023, the Detroit-based AI company announced the successful raise of $14M in Series A funding. Led by Owl Ventures, the round also saw participation from LG Technology Ventures and existing investors Sierra Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Osage Venture Partners, and Foothill Ventures.

The company, led by CEO Dr. Sam Zheng, plans to use the funds to invest in go-to-market initiatives, accelerating its business growth, and ramping up investments in product, engineering, and generative AI innovation. DeepHow has already fast-tracked the development of product enhancements that leverage generative AI to accelerate SOP video creation, multimodal workflow generation, AI chat assistance, and strategic knowledge mapping in response to customer demand.
