($5.5M in Series A Funding)
Kaito, an AI-powered search engine for the crypto industry, raised $5.5 million in its Series A round.
Founded by Yu Hu, the funding round was led by early-stage crypto venture capital (VC) firm Superscrypt and The Spartan Group. This follows a $5.3 million raise led by tech VC Dragonfly and included Sequoia China and Jane Street in February.
Why we like it: Kaito uses large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard to search indexed information across numerous private silos, such as Discord and Telegram, as well as data on the blockchain, making it a valuable tool for the crypto community.
